FSOSW members are oncology social workers or other health care professionals who provide a wide variety of direct patient services in public and private health care institutions and agencies. Some members hold positions of administration, education, and research directly related to the common mission of providing quality psycho social support services to cancer patients and their families.

Step 1 - Select the membership that is right for you.

Step 2 - Submit your application online for immediate access or download the paper application and complete.

Become an Individual Member

Full Annual Member - $35

  • Must have an undergraduate or graduate degree in social work and be actively engaged in or retired from clinical practice, administration, education, or research in oncology social work.
  • Voting member - May vote in all general membership elections.
  • May hold a Board of Director position appointed or elected.

Associate Annual Member - $35

  • Non-social workers working in or retired from Oncology or Palliative care as part of direct psychosocial care to patients.
  • Voting member - May vote in all general membership elections.
  • May serve on committees of the Board of Directors
  • May not hold a Board of Directors position appointed or elected.

Student Annual Member - $20

  • Enrolled full or part-time in a Social Work Degree program at a CSWE approved school.
  • Must show proof of enrollment.
  • Voting member - May vote in all general membership elections.
  • May not hold a Board of Directors position appointed or elected.
